Air Cleaners
Electronic air cleaners remove 95% or more of the undesirable airborne particles and are usually installed in the duct carrying air back to the furnace. By comparison, a typical disposable furnace filter removes only 10%-15% of the contaminants. Electronic air cleaners are very energy-efficient and require a media filter change only once a year. We will install the electronic air cleaner on your indoor system. When the blower comes on it will electronically charge the dust particles so that they will collect in the filter.
Dehumidifier
The metro Atlanta area is well-known for having moderate levels of humidity throughout the year, especially during the summer months. Because of these high levels of humidity, it becomes a breeding ground for allergy triggers like mold, mildew and dust mites. If you notice that the levels of moisture within your home are higher than would be considered normal, then the solution is the installation of a dehumidifier. Dehumidifiers control the level of humidity within a room or an entire home. It will regulate the air and provide you with improved air quality and protection from mold growth. Dehumidification systems can be integrated into heating and cooling systems through the use of special humidity sensing thermostats and variable speed furnaces or they can be installed freestanding with their own duct work. They are controlled by a humidistat that senses high moisture levels and can operate all year to remove excess moisture whenever needed.
Humidifiers

Controlling your indoor humidity through the use of a Humidifier is very important. Dry indoor air is often the culprit for such common problems as itchy or cracked skin, eye irritation, dry nasal passages, static electricity and damaged home furnishings. Maintaining ideal humidity in your home can be the key to relief from these symptoms. Proper humidity is crucial for minimizing the growth of bacteria, molds, viruses and dust mites. We will mount a humidistat inside your home and a humidifier on your furnace or duct system. You dial in your desired level of humidity; the humidistat measures the humidity in the surrounding air and adds moisture if the humidity is low.
